This policy explains how the Zana platform uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage your preferences.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you browse a website or use an application. It allows your browser to be recognised and certain information to be stored.
2. Cookies we use
Essential: required for operation (session, security, authentication). They cannot be disabled.
Preferences: remembering language (fr/en/rw) and display settings.
Audience measurement: aggregated usage statistics to improve the service.
Marketing: only with your prior consent.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies originate from technical providers (for example authentication via our Supabase infrastructure, or mapping). These third parties act in accordance with their own policies and our data-processing agreements.
4. Managing your preferences
You can configure your browser at any time to accept, refuse or delete cookies. Refusing essential cookies may impair the service. Where consent is required, it can be withdrawn at any time.
